Since we are dependent on air, water, land, trees, resources, energy and the ecosystem, we should put a financial and political value on them, so that they can be properly accounted for. These things that we take for granted will become ultra-valuable when they are in short supply, when we have polluted them and when companies or foreign competitors have monopoly control over them. Let’s value them properly now so that we protect them and prevent that happening.
