20.3 Governments must be chosen in free and fair elections

Governments must be chosen democratically by the people in elections that are free and fair. New Magna Carta MediumThe elections must be every five years, at most. Anybody may stand as a candidate. The media must act as a neutral and rich source of information and debate. The broadcast media may not support a particular party or show any bias apart from excluding those who undermine democracy process or break the law. The democratic process at all stages must be scrupulously fair and in service of the highest outcome, a fair decision making process and reflect the peoples honest choice.
