There should be no special privileges for any groups, majority or minority. Everyone must be treated as an individual, equally and fairly. Exceptions include protection for the native culture in countries where immigrants have overwhelmed the original population, and multi-ethnic states such as South Africa, Belgium or Singapore where a federation or stratified democracy may be beneficial.
