A healthy, dynamic nation needs to be open to a free flow of visitors including business people, tourists, students, family and temporary workers. To facilitate that, each nation must have effective border management to ensure that visitors do not outstay their welcome. Temporary visitors and foreigners should be treated with respect but do not acquire the rights of a citizen. Those who abuse our hospitality must be deported.
